How it works
Simultaneously activates GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors. The first two blunt appetite and slow gastric emptying; the third raises energy expenditure, which earlier compounds in this class do not.
Dosage
Research protocols typically start at 1–2 mg weekly and titrate upward over several weeks. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water and refrigerate once mixed.
Side effects
Nausea, reduced appetite, diarrhoea and vomiting, strongly dose-dependent. Slow titration is the usual way to keep them manageable.
